You’re invited to… Lab Learn: Coding Movement (Lambeth Community Programme)

These sessions are fully booked.

As part of the Lambeth Community Programme, local Lambeth schools can sign up to a free Lab Learn: Coding Movement session.

In these schools sessions aimed ay Key Stage 1 and 2 we take an interdisciplinary approach mixing coding and dance to explore how performance and technology can work together.

Students will use KANO kits to merge performance and coding, they will use a virtual reality app Co Spaces and explore using Google Street view. Through these activities your class will learn to play with cause and effect and chain reactions in teams. (Emma – need clarity on what this means).

When is Lab Learn: Coding Movement?

Sessions will run between 10:00am – 2:00pm on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 January.

Who is Lab Learn: Coding Movement for and how much does it cost?

Lab Learn: Coding Movement is suitable for Key Stage 1 and 2 classes based in Lambeth. There is no cost for this event, however spaces are limited. We will be working with 2 classes of 30 students on each day and parents are invited to attend.

We ask that you book a place for your classes using this form. Please email imaginationlab@ioi.london if you have any questions about this event or the booking process. These sessions are fully booked.

The Lambeth Community Programme is supported by the Rangoonwala Foundation.
