Lab Learn: Science of Sound FULLY BOOKED

You’re invited to… Lab Learn: Science of Sound

Only schools located in City of Westminster, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, Harrow or Kensington and Chelsea are eligible to sign up to a free Lab Learn: Science of Sound session.

In these schools sessions aimed at Key Stage 2, we explore sound through invention, code and digital technology. In this collaborative event students will work with classes from other schools to play with everyday items to create sound effects for film, coding using scratch and creating circuits using Makey Makey’s to animate fruit and vegetables as their instruments.

When is Lab Learn: Science of Sound?

The sessions are on 17, 18 and 19 April and run between 10.30am – 2pm.

Who is Lab Learn: Science of Sound for and how much does it cost?

Lab Learn: Science of Sound is suitable for Key Stage 2 classes at schools located in City of Westminster, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, Harrow, Kensington and Chelsea. There is no cost for this event, however spaces are limited. We will be working with 2 classes of 30 students on each day.

We ask that you register your interest in these sessions using this form. Please email imaginationlab@ioi.london if you have any questions about this event or the booking process. Sessions are allocated on a first come, first serve basis and we will get in touch with you to confirm if you have been allocated a space, following completion of the form.
