You’re invited to… Lab Learn: Building a Super City
If your school is located in City of Westminster, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, Harrow or Kensington and Chelsea, you can sign up to a free Lab Learn: Building a Super City session for your Key Stage 2 class.
In these schools sessions aimed at Key Stage 2, we will be imagining a city of the future. Working in teams, students will start by drawing and designing buildings and infrastructure for the city, before moving into construction using wire and mesh. Students will learn new making skills with wire formers and pliers and will explore different ways to make the city function using simple coding with BBC micro:bit.
When is Lab Learn: Building a Super City
The sessions are on 13, 14 and 15 June and run between 10.30-14.00.
Who is Lab Learn: Building a Super City for and how much does it cost?
Lab Learn: Building a Super City is suitable for Key Stage 2 classes at schools located in City of Westminster, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, Harrow or Kensington and Chelsea. There is no cost for this event, however spaces are limited. We will be working with 2 classes of 30 students on each day.
