You’re invited to…OKIDO Get Into Science Family Event!

This event is all about the magic of science exploration!

Make friends, learn about science and have fun in this bi-monthly event for young children and their families, run by OKIDO, with experts, artists and scientists. The event encourages learning through play in the most fun and creative way. Parents will be fascinated by these sessions so be prepared to have a lot of fun and learn with your children!

Here’s what to expect:

  • Watch a fascinating, science show from Alom Shaha, author of the fabulous science book for children – Mr Shaha’s Recipes for Wonder. “There are many wondrous things in the world, find out how to use them to start your journey towards being a scientist”
  • Watch an episode of Messy goes to Okido.
  • Participate in science experiments and inspired craft and science activities:
  • Play with electro dough
  • Join in with a giant height chart
  • Make a working lung model
  • Create your own scientific callipers
  • Meet Messy Monster
  • And most importantly – learn all about science and have a lot of fun

 

Who is this event for and how much does it cost?

These GET INTO SCIENCE events are suitable for children aged around 3-7 but younger and older children are also very welcome. Family sessions each lasting 90 minutes. Costs £8 per child, £4 per adult (babes-in-arms are free).
