Digital Make, Digital Do
Ahead of the launch of its new Imagination Lab in early 2017, the Institute of Imagination is opening its doors to the Lab as part of Make:Shift:Do (29 October 2016). This open house event will be free of charge and is an opportunity for children and families to tell us how they would like our new Lab to develop. Free tickets are available here.
Activities will include a pop up Digital Making space and children (ages 5-12) and their families will be encouraged to engage in new experiences using a range of digital tools. Through the use of art, sound and storytelling all participants will get involved in creating and animating their own stories, building their own robotic sound orchestra and working with the brilliant Kano computers to make and code art.
All children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their child during the visit. Please obtain a free ticket for all adults and children who will be attending.
The Institute of Imagination creates space for children and families to re-imagine the world. From 2017 our Imagination Lab will provide a range of activities, workshops and events that children and adults can enjoy together. By signing up to this event you will be added to our mailing that will inform you of future events. You can opt out of this by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
