You’re invited to… Lab Liftoff: Bricks & Code
Join us for a day long skills camp for children 7-12 exploring coding and robotics with LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 kits.
What can I expect at Lab Liftoff: Bricks & Code
Working in teams, children will design, build and bring to life Milo the robot using coding skills with the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 kit. They can create their own characters and decide what their special powers are!
Children will design and programme their robots to tackle various challenges, based on real-world situations. They’ll also put their imaginations to the test to tackle LEGO building challenges through playful, collaborative activities.
This is a unique opportunity to learn coding, tinker with robotics, play and innovate in response to real-life problems facing the world today. Children will hone their innovation, problem-solving, creative and coding skills and, most importantly, have fun together!
When is Lab Liftoff: Bricks & Code?
This camp is taking place on 9 April from 10:00am until 4:00pm. This is a drop-off event, children do not need to be accompanied by a parent or carer during the workshop. There will be a show and tell which parents are invited to attend at 3.30pm. The day will finish at 4:00pm.

Who is Lab Liftoff: Bricks & Code for and how much does it cost?
Ideal for children aged 7-12 years. The camp costs £65 for the full day of activities. Please note, LEGO cannot be taken home at the end of the day as they make use of the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 kit, which must remain in the Imagination Lab.
Are refreshments available at Lab Liftoff: Bricks & Code?
Lunch is not provided, children should bring a packed lunch to the Lab.
