Support Families with SEND

The long-term disruption Covid has caused to the lives of children and young people has been absolutely immense. From missing school to missing friends, life has been very difficult.

For those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who have lacked the specialist care and adapted learning environments they need to thrive, it’s been far more difficult. Which is why the Institute of Imagination is launching the iOi Imagination Box.

With interactive, dynamic activities designed especially to spark SEND learners, the iOi Imagination Box is filled with multi-sensory materials and illustrated activity cards. It gives parents new and enjoyable ways to ignite their SEND child’s imagination, and meaningfully support their learning and wellbeing from home.

Thanks to The Childhood Trust and The Big Give, from 8th –15th June, every donation to the Institute of Imagination will be doubled to support SEND children and families in the wake of Covid.

  • £10 donation will give an iOi Imagination Box to one family
  • £50 could cover an afterschool club
  • £500 could provide enough boxes for a whole year group
