CANCELLED Imagination Lab Volunteering Evening

Due to the adverse weather conditions, this evening’s Volunteering Evening at the Imagination Lab has been postponed. The safety of visitors is paramount to the Institute of Imagination and we want to ensure that with transport disruptions, you are able to travel home safely. You’re invited to…find out more about volunteering with the iOi
Come to the Imagination Lab to find out more about volunteering opportunities with the iOi. Volunteers are crucial to our work and with your help, we can make a real difference to the lives of children and families.
During this 1.5 hour session, you will:
- learn about our exciting programme of events
- have the chance to explore the Lab and try out hands-onactivities
- meet the iOi team
- learn more about what role you can play as a volunteer
The session is the perfect opportunity for people who haven’t yet volunteered with us to have an introduction to the iOi. For those of you who have volunteered with us already, it could be a chance to bring along a friend or a family member to the session who’s also interested in volunteering, or to give us feedback on your experiences so far.
When and where is it Volunteering Evening?
Thursday 1 March at 18:30-20.00, at the Imagination Lab, The Workshop, 26 Lambeth High Street, London, SE1 7AG. Please note that this session is not mandatory in order to volunteer with the iOi but a great way to meet the team and fellow volunteers and also try out some fun activities. If you can’t attend the event but would like to enquire about volunteering with us, please contact Alex at volunteer@ioi.london.
What activities will we be doing?
- Play with Virtual Reality and create your own Virtual world
- Play with a homemade Buzz Wire Game
- Making and different varieties of Drawbots
