Need some help with your idea?
- Start by thinking about the issues you see in your community – what are some problems that people face or things that could be improved? Consider environmental issues, social issues, and everyday challenges.
- Once you have identified a problem, brainstorm ways that technology could help. Could you invent a robot that picks up litter? Create a VR app that helps people find recycling bins? Use coding skills to design a virtual reality game that teaches people about the importance of reducing plastic waste?
- Remember, the goal is to be creative and imaginative! Don’t worry about whether your idea is “realistic” – this is a chance to let your imagination run wild. Think about how your idea could make a positive impact on your community and inspire others to get involved.
- Then, design or create a prototype to showcase, detailing your idea, how it might work and the benefits it will have for your community. You can create a presentation, draw a poster, or craft a prototype out of LEGO bricks or recycled materials.
