What can I expect at Lab Learn: Making Movement?
These workshops will explore and celebrate how different energy sources create movement. Each school can bring one class (up to 30 children each) to a workshop at the Lab on either Wednesday 15 or Thursday 16 November. This is a collaborative event and you will be working with classes from other schools. We will be creating drawing robots, hovercrafts powered by balloons, elastic or air, and other moving items such as boats. The day will aim to ignite your classes’ imagination through art and design, engineering and the science behind energy creation and movement.
Parents are very welcome to these workshops – please invite parents along to the workshop to participate in the programme.
