A Children’s Festival of Making
The Institute of Imagination Mini Maker Faire is inviting children aged five to 11 and their families to re-imagine the world through playfulness and experimentation. Our festival of making will bring together a diverse group of talented makers who will ignite children’s imagination. Parents and carers will be encouraged to explore and create alongside their child.
Please note: you must book a ticket for all participants wishing to attend including children.
Keep an eye on our page for details of activities and makers: www.ioi.london/makerfaire
Our makers will design a wide range of activities including crafting, weaving, fixing, 3D printing, virtual reality, robotics and more! Children will be invited to discover and explore 3D design, animation, the brain, engineering, coding and design thinking. All activities will be child-led and involve an element of problem solving, collaboration, creativity and will foster a spirit of learning by doing. We will celebrate the bond between adult and child developed through the act of making.
