This event is fully booked
We’ve partnered with the Wellcome Trust to bring schools sessions aimed at 5-18 years old to The Hub at the Wellcome Collection, celebrating how our brains think, explore and imagine.
We will explore our brains and celebrate their differences through technology, sound and immersive spaces. In this collaborative event students will work with classes from other schools to:
- Play with immersive environments
- Discover the magic of illusion and the tricks it plays on the brain
- Explore sound using coding, scratch and Makey Makey’s to animate fruit and vegetables
When is Lab Learn: Our Brains and Us?
The sessions are on 19 and 20 July and there are two sessions each day, 10:00am-12.00pm and 1-3:00pm. The afternoon session on 20 July is exclusive to home education families and groups.
Who is Lab Learn: Our Brains and Us for and how much does it cost?
Lab Learn: Our Brains and Us is suitable for children aged 5-18 years old at schools located in London. There is no cost for this event, however spaces are limited. We will be working with 40 students per session.
The afternoon session (1-3pm) on 20 July is exclusive to home education families and groups. Please complete the form below to register your interest for this session.

The sessions are held at The Hub at Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BE, UK. We will send you full details for your visit once your place is confirmed.
What happens when I get there?
A member from our team will greet you at the main reception at the Wellcome Collection. You will then be escorted to the Hub space.
