Lab Life: Future Me, 27 and 28 August

What could your child invent in the Imagination Lab? Join us for Lab Life: Future Me to find out.
Our Future Me theme concludes over the August bank holiday weekend with a celebration of ideas and invention at Lab Life. We’re inviting children and families to imagine their future in a world which they will help to shape.
Working with designers, crafters and makers, all participants will have the opportunity to invent new ideas and shape their inventions through a process typically called ‘rapid prototyping’. Using crafts materials and mechanical tools, children – and adults – can bring their ideas to life at the Imagination Lab. In addition, we will be using tools to explore how invention happens in digital environments using the latest virtual reality technology.
There are four half day workshop sessions available:
- Sunday 27 August 10:00am – 12:30pm
- Sunday 27 August 1:30pm – 4:00pm
- Monday 28 August 10:00am – 12:30pm
- Monday 28 August 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Tickets are available for £5 per participant. These are ticketed events with limited availability. Please note that tickets will need to be booked for each participant (both adults and children) and that all children will need to be accompanied by an adult.
