When and where is Lab Life: Tinkering Day Project?

We will have two days of Lab Life: Tinkering Day Project, Thursday 9 or Friday 10 August, from 10am – 3pm. The same activities will be run on either day. Children can be dropped off at the Lab from 9:30am for a 10am start. At 3pm, on both days, we will have a showcase of the projects that have been worked on, which parents/carers are welcome to attend to see the projects that have been created.

Who is Lab Life: Tinkering Day Project  for and how much does it cost?

This Tinkering Club is free and specifically for Peabody estate residents in Lambeth. It is ideal for children aged 5+ years and their families, though children aged 7+ may attend independently. Children under 7 should be accompanied by a parent or carer. As we have spaces available we can now open this event up for ALL Lambeth residents to register.

Please note that children will be able to take home their creations, but that some items will not be able to be taken home, for example MicroBits. This will be made clear at the start of the Tinkering Day.

Are refreshments available at Lab Life: Tinkering Day Project?

There will be teas, coffee and water provide throughout the day. Children and families will need to bring along their pack lunch for the day.

The Lambeth Community Programme’s Tinkering Clubs are supported by the Rangoonwala Foundation and the London Community Foundation through the Peabody Community Fund.
