You’re invited to… Lab Liftoff: Game Invention
Join us for a full day skills camp for children aged 7-12 years, inventing games and learning to code with BBC micro:bit, a tiny programmable computer and Scratch 3, a coding programme.
What can I expect at Lab Liftoff: Game Invention
Working in small teams, children will learn how to use BBC micro:bit and learn coding through Scratch 3 to build and design their own games, either recreating their favourites or inventing new games straight from their imaginations.
When is Lab Liftoff: Game Invention?
This camp is taking place on Wednesday 29 May, from 10:00am until 4:00pm. This is a drop-off event, children do not need to be accompanied by a parent or carer during the workshop. There will be a show and tell at 3:30pm, which parents/ carers are encouraged to attend. Children should be collected at 4:00pm.
