You’re invited to…Lab Liftoff: Light Art
Join us for a day long skills camp experimenting with circuits to bring artwork to life with LED lights.
What can I expect at…Lab Liftoff: Light Art?
Children will learn the basics of creating and operating simple circuits using conductive materials including aluminum, copper tape and conductive paint.
After successfully building a range of circuits, they will create pieces of art that can light up. They can then add actions to their circuits like illuminating a house when the door is opened.
This is a unique opportunity to learn how to build circuits and apply inventive and creative thinking to develop interactive pieces of artwork.
