Lambeth Sparks Virtual Family Workshop

You’re invited to….

Lambeth Spark’ Big Animation Digital Challenge! If you took part in the Lambeth Sparks programme, you’re invited to use your imagination to tell a story using stop motion animation.

This session will be about introducing and reminding them to basics, how to input sound creatively, how to use frames, how to share their animation, how to be playful with everyday objects, fractal art, holes, backwards animation and rebranding everyday items creatively.

Children will have until 15th July to submit their augmented world. The iOi will keep in touch by sending a digital resource pack and top tips via email and Whatsapp groups and answering any questions you may have! We will share your creations on the iOi website.

You can attend any of our two drop-in sessions (via Zoom):

1. 9:30 – 10:45
2. 14.00-15.15

Don’t worry if you can’t attend any of these times, we’ll still be sharing the resource with you.

Session Structure:

The session will run be hosted on Zoom. Details of how to join will be emailed to you.

• Introduction on Zoom
• Warm up
• Introduction to the challenge: To create a world within a world
• Start making your stop frame animation films: Learn basic animation programming, how to input sound creatively, use speed within frames, be playful with everyday objects, create backwards animation and rebrand everyday items creatively
• Showcase and share your animation with iOi.
