What is an imagination box?
An imagination box is a multi-sensory resource pack, filled with everything you need to complete over ten activities. Activities include stop frame animation, playing with food colouring, and making junk instruments!
Who is this for?
This is for children, young people and educators living in or who go to school within Newham.
We do have a limited number of boxes available so please only sign up if this applies to your child or young person. We are only able to supply one box per household. We are also able to provide boxes for teachers to use in classrooms. If you have any queries, please email imaginationhub@ioi.london or call us on 07585009726.
What is included in the box?
We are also running three interactive workshops during February half term which you can sign up to shortly. They will be:
How much does this cost?
This is a funded programme with London Community Response Fund, so it is free to sign up for a box. All we ask is that you are able to provide feedback, either via phone and/or email when we contact you.
When will I collect my box?
You will be able to collect your box from your local Newham library. We will email you when you can collect it – but we’re aiming to get them ready for February half term.
Can I see what the resources are like before I receive the box?
If you want to have a look at the type of activities you can explore with the imagination box, take a look at our resources page. This includes videos for the activities included.
