You are invited to… Open House Families
City Hall will be opening its doors to the public as part of Open House London 2018 and we’re delighted to be running a ‘Future Cities’ workshop for the occasion. Join us to explore what the future of cities might look like, design ideas and bring them to life, right from the home of London government.
In this workshop we’ll be using a variety of materials to create buildings of the future which can move, relocate, shift and adjust to the needs of the changing city. You’ll have the opportunity to create structures out of cardboard, foam board, sticks and more on ‘walking legs’, wheels or tractor tracks – plus try your ideas out on a large projected map of London.
When is Open House Families?
The event takes place on Saturday 22 September from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
Who is Open House Families for and how much does it cost?
This free event is aimed at children and families. Our ‘Future Cities’ workshop is perfect for children aged 5-12 years old and their parents and carers.
How can I book tickets?
Open House Families is free to attend and the activities are drop-in, so no booking is required. Find out more about other activities taking place at Open House Families on City Hall’s website.
