Lab Late: Wild And Hopeful Parenthood, Child Rights And Doing Things Differently

19th July 2017, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Amy Doust and Lucy AitkenRead in conversation at the Imagination Lab for a lively, thought provoking and honest discussion about parenthood, child rights and raising wild and wonderful children.

Writer and activist Lucy has moved with her family to live in a yurt in New Zealand, while former teacher and language lover Amy has just returned from living on a mountain in rural Tuscany with her three young children. Both families now home educate their children using an un-schooling, child-led approach.

“Hear about the days we get it right, the times we get it wrong and follow the momentum of our journeys as mammas.” – Amy and Lucy

Amy and Lucy invite you to challenge, question, laugh and enjoy a glass of wine with them while you hear their parenthood stories and why they chose to do it differently. They’ll be giving you insights from their own experiences, from living in a yurt in New Zealand to attempting to integrate in a closed community while trying to pick up the language in Italy.

Join us at the Imagination Lab from 7pm for a prompt start at 7:30pm.

Tickets available here.
