You are invited to…Tinkering Club: Tinkering With Velocity
This event is now fully booked.
Join us at the Imagination Lab to satisfy your need for speed! At Tinkering Club: Tinkering With Velocity, we will be playing and experimenting with elasticity, balloon power, electricity, motors and Micro:bits. We’ll be exploring how we make robots, paper aeroplanes, speeding motorbikes, boats and cars. You’ll get the chance to hack your invention and think about how weight and acceleration changes its speed. To top it off you’ll be able to test your invention out on a 150 meter race track!
Please note, if you make an invention with a motor and battery pack, there will be a small charge of £3 to cover the cost if you would like to take it home.
When is Tinkering Club: Tinkering With Velocity?
This session is on Saturday 20th October and runs between 10:00am – 13:00pm. Please arrive at the start of the session to get the most from these activities.
