We run various community programmes for Lambeth residents and schools. Find out more about projects we are currently running here.

From 2017-2019 we ran Imagination Lab programmes from The Workshop in Lambeth. From 2020 we’ll no longer be based at The Workshop as we will be running events from new locations across London.

We will still be running activities in Lambeth and you can find out what you can get involved in here or visit our what’s on page for all our events.

Lambeth Sparks Tinkering Clubs

Do you have children aged aged 7-12? We’re running Lambeth Sparks Tinkering Clubs in Streatham Hill and Loughborough Junction in 2020. This is a great opportunity for children to take part in a drop-off after school Tinkering club for 8 weeks with access to cutting edge technology to learn the basics of coding and more. They will try out virtual reality, stop-frame animation, micro-computing using BBC Micro:bit and LEGO Robotics in a creative and playful environment to develop skills in creative problem-solving, improve their confidence and support wellbeing.

Households that receive the following benefits can apply to become a Lambeth Spark: Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit, Incapacity Benefit, Job Seekers Allowance, Employment & Support Allowance, Income Support, Pension Credit, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Free school meals or Universal Credit.

Loughborough Junction dates: Tues 10, 17, 24, 31 Mar, 21, 28 Apr, 5, 12 May. 4-6pm

We need you to spread the word about our free programmes to local schools, teachers, community groups, after school clubs, volunteering organisations and families. Please email imaginationlab@ioi.london for more information.
