We are very excited to introduce Wild Eco Builders, our new iOi Schools Programme theme exploring biomimicry through STEAM workshops, including an activity co-created with and supported by the LEGO Group.
Wild Eco Builders delves into the science of nature, with KS1 & KS2 children can discover how biomimicry can inspire us to imagine creative sustainable solutions for the cities & communities we live in. Within the workshops, we will explore life on land, water and air with activities including sculpting with paper to build biomimicry-inspired architecture, empowering scientific thinking for wild cities and biologically inspired coding. It is an opportunity to be playful and collaborative across STEAM, focusing on creativity, design thinking, coding, engineering and scientific skills that help to support future skills that we need to sustain and build for the people on our planet.
Take a look at our iOi Schools Programme brochure for more information about the activities in Wild Eco Builders, and how you can get involved in the Autumn Term.
