You’re invited to… an Imagination Hub Family Day at South Friern Library
Join us for our pop-up at South Friern Library for sessions in creative coding and digital storytelling.
What can you expect at the Imagination Hub Family Day at South Friern Library?
We’re running workshops in creative coding and digital storytelling which you can do as a family or with your parents and/or carers. At the sessions you will have the chance to:
- Tinker with digital storytelling through hands-on activities
- Create a stop-frame animation trailer for your favourite book
- Code and invent your own creation using Scratch (a coding programme) and Micro:Bit (a mini programmable computer)
This is a day for you and your family to have fun with coding using stories and books as your inspiration.
When is the Imagination Hub Family Day at South Friern Library?
This is a drop-in event, running between 2-5pm on Saturday 18 January. You can drop in any time.
Who is Imagination Hub Family Day at South Friern Library for and how much does it cost?
The event is for 6-11 year olds and parents and/or carers. Parents and carers must stay with their children throughout the event.
The event is free and we recommend that you book in advance at the South Friern Library Reception Desk in person or on 020 8359 3946 to let them know you’re coming.
