What is Save Make Reinvent?
Our latest iOi at Home theme is all exploring how we can reuse our waste and turn it into treasure! You can tinker, create and invent solutions using everyday objects and digital tools in these activities:
How can I get involved?
You can take part from your classroom, community centre or sofa! All you have to do is head over to home.ioi.london where you can find all our videos and guides to help you explore sustainability.
If you’re from a school or community centre in Newham and Lambeth, we’re offering in-person and online workshops for your children and young people. You can get in touch by giving us a call on 07585009276, or emailing us; if you’re in Lambeth email Michelle.Borda@ioi.london. For Newham email nileema.yesmin@ioi.london.
What’s iOi at Home?
In this new normal we believe creativity and imagination is more important than ever. We want our activities to be available in person as well as also in the home. iOi at Home is all about building new skills, supporting wellbeing and helping to adapt to our rapidly changing world.
How much does this cost?
Nothing – it’s free!
Who is this for?
This is for anyone aged 5 – 12 years old, including those with SEND. It can be used by after school clubs, teachers looking for creative classroom activities or parents looking to do something fun at the weekend!
Best of all, our activities can be enjoyed by the whole family! We encourage everyone to get involved with creating, tinkering and experimenting with recycled materials.
Who are the iOi?
The Institute of Imagination is a charity creating space to re-imagine our world, together. Our goal is to spark imaginations everywhere and encourage creative learning through our events, training, partnerships and research.
We run activities for children and young people, families, schools, adults and educators in a variety of locations across London and beyond.
