iOi Community Hub: Imagination Box SEND | Family Day

FreeThe Institute of Imagination (iOi) have created a brand-new Imagination Box and we want to share it with you! This box has been specifically designed for children with SEND and will explore experimenting with colours. It includes an array of sensory activities using tactility, sound, visual observation, visual learning, and some that use fine motor skills.
We will be delivering workshops at Harrow Arts Centre to complement these activities. All activities will be adapted to support everyone in the group.
What will happen in the session?
We will have three fun activities set up from the new SEND Imagination Box. Through the one hour and a half, we will support and walk through these activities. There will be lots of time for participants to explore, tinker and be creative! The theme will be COLOUR – so expect some sensory excitement!
What are the timings?
Morning Session (5-9 year olds): 10:30am – 12:00pm
Afternoon Session (10 – 15 year olds): 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Activities will be the same for the morning and afternoon session – so only book in for one session!
In the middle of the session, we will have a comfort break.
How many spaces are there?
30 people maximum per session. This may be adapted dependent on Government Guidelines before the event.
Children and young people attend with one adults/carers. Siblings can also come along, just let us know how many!

This will take place at Harrow Arts Centre, 171 Uxbridge Rd, Pinner HA5 4EA
