You’re invited to… Lambeth Community Programme: Lab Life ‘Making a Movement’
We are hosting a Lab Life for Lambeth residents only, as part of the Lambeth Community Programme. This will explore the topic of ‘Making a Movement’ through wind, robotics, sound, engineering and scientific experiments.
What can I expect at Lab Life: Making Movement?
Friday 17 November
Cardboard Pinball Machine – make your own pinball machine, playing with levers and cogs.
Natural Energy Machine – make your own balloon boat or flying hoover craft flying.
Wind Tunnel – play with aerodynamics to make your own flying creature hover in the air.
Ozobots – code your miniature robot to draw all over the floor.
Saturday 18 November
Cardboard Coding – code a face made from cardboard to move in different ways through sensors and programming.
Cardboard Pinball Machine – make your own pinball machine, playing with levers and cogs.
Natural Energy Machine – make your own balloon boat or flying hoover craft flying.
When is Lab Life: Making Movement?
Lab Life: Making Movement takes place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 November. Friday’s session will be after school, from 4-6:30pm. Saturday will have a morning session, 10am – 12:30pm and an afternoon session 1:30-4pm.
Who is Lab Life: Making Movement for and how much does it cost?
This event is free but can only be attended by members of the Lambeth Community Programme. It is ideal for children aged 3-10 and their parents/carers. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. If you are not a Lambeth resident, check out our other events here.
