You’re invited to…
Join Lambeth Sparks Creative Digital Learning Programme and develop skills in digital technologies in a playful and fun environment.
What can you expect at Lambeth Sparks Tinkering Club: Streatham Hill?
At this workshop, you will have access to cutting edge technology including Micro:bit (a tiny programmable computer), virtual reality, WeDo LEGO Education 2.0 kits, Scratch (coding programme) and Makey Makey’s (circuit invention kit) plus more! You’ll delve into creative invention with activities like stop-frame animation, robotics and gamification.
You will take on your own digital creative project and develop valuable skills leading to improved confidence. Whether it’s developing basic coding skills using the Scratch programme to code your own robotic invention, creating an instrument using Makey Makey’s and designing games like buzz wire using Micro:bit, no challenge is too great!
These workshops will have children tinkering, playing and making, picking up valuable skills along the way. Children will have the opportunity to work in teams whilst making friends. At times they’ll work independently on their own projects. As each week passes they’ll gain skills in collaboration, creative problem-solving and invention, engineering, robotics and coding.
