We invite you to tinker, create, invent and test solutions that support sustainability! In this online workshop exclusively for schools in Newham, we will be exploring the Circular Economy and how the everyday objects around us can be Saved, Made and Reinvented. We’ll explore how we can reuse and reinvent, not just recycle. Sign up to this free workshop at the bottom of the page!
Prototyping Junk Bots for KS1 & 2
Using recyclable materials, you will experiment with inventing and prototyping your Junk Bots. You will learn about the materials that can be recycled and be inspired to reuse them in imaginative ways. Working in groups and as a class you will test ideas, maybe you will prototype a junk bot cleaner or a junk bot artist? For KS2, teachers will be guided on how to help pupils bring movement to their bots using hobby motors.
