We’ve teamed up with our friends at Scoop Magazine to offer you the chance to win a subscription to Scoop Magazine and a family trip to Mega Maker Lab this summer.

To celebrate the opening of Mega Maker Lab this summer, we’re giving you the chance to win entry for your family plus a year-long subscription to Scoop Magazine to give your family all the inspiration they need to tinker, experiment and play all summer.

What’s Mega Maker Lab?

It’s a summer experience for families to tinker, experiment and play together. Mega Maker Lab is open all August at the Workshop in Lambeth, London, for young inventors to explore. You can experience five creative zones with LEGO challenges, coding, virtual reality and robotics workshops, giant marble runs, tips from tech experts and collaborative art installations. Mega Maker Lab is perfect for families with children aged 5-12 and is open 6 days a week from Tuesdays to Sundays between 1-31 August, 10am – 5pm. If you’re a winner, you can pick your day to attend through August and experience Mega Maker Lab as a family with up to 6 tickets. Find out more.

What’s Scoop Magazine?

It’s a fantastic monthly children’s magazine that brings together a host of incredible writers and illustrators who create original fiction, articles, poetry, puzzles, comics, games, activities and more. They aim to offer children a way into ideas and subjects through the very best story-telling, design and illustration. For example in the recent Innovation Edition, guest editor Konnie Huq takes a look at the many aspects of invention and innovation. Within the pages you can delve into the stories of what happens when robots make bad decisions and how inventions can fail, hear from an inventor who makes products out of used bubble gum and think about the innovation of language and how nature inspires technology. Exciting stuff! Find out more.
